Top 10 Batman villains I’d like to see in a new reboot, and this would be of course in a Non-Nolan universe. Where not everything has to be based in a too realistic world.
1.Killer Croc
-Born with a rare medical condition that gave him a thick scaly skin and razor-sharp teeth and claws, he killed his abusive aunt and at the tender age of 8. He would grow to a monstrous size and his physical strength would grow as well, but his intelligence did not, making him a virtual slave to his primal desires and cannibalistic nature. He would be a genius “terrorist” like Ra’s Al Ghul, The Joker and Bane the villains in the Nolan Batman movies. Croc would just be a monstrous “Killer Croc” that Batman would have hunt down and defeat. HOW DOES THAT NOT SOUND COOL?
2.Clay Face
-Basil Karlo was a B-list actor who through an incident gains/is cursed with a clay body that can shape anything he wants. If the CG was just right Clayface would be visually the most amazing movie villain, and with his shape-shifting and melting, Clayface is a near impossible fight or destroy. If they used the Clayface from the Batman animated series this would be the movie to see!
3.Riddler
-Edward Nigma has a genius-level IQ, skilled at making and solving puzzles, photographic memory, mastery of engineering, chemistry, and technology, not to mention a skilled detective. (basically a green, crazy Batman) The Riddler is a mastermind who leaves riddles and clue at all of his crimes. While the Riddler has already been in a Batman movie, “Batman and Robin” and was portrayed by a near perfect actor, there was a lot to be desired. In a Batman Riddler movie it could end up being like the Nolan movie but instead of going after Gotham City the traps and riddles are set just for the purpose of challenging Batman. In the Nolan film you didn’t really see the master detective that Batman was, you saw Alfred and Lucius do most of the work. But if he faced the Riddler we’d have a chance to see the true Batman.
4.Lock-Up
-First appeared in Batman: The Animated Series as the chief of security at Arkham Asylum, Lyle Bolton believes he can take care of the high crime-rate in Gotham City by killing all the villains under his “hero” Lock-Up. Lock-Up in a Batman movie would be interesting putting Batman in the awkward position of having to save villains he put away. This would be a cool second or third movie to the Batman rebooted series.
5.Man-Bat
-Dr. Kirk Langstrom while trying to cure his deafness, created a serum that accident turned him into a 7-foot mindless bat man known as Man-Bat. Ok so a lot of the villains on my list are monsters… but those are the action/horror movies I like to see. With Man-Bat as the villain this movie could be a double villain feature. Man-Bat is mindless and acts on animal instinct. Which could make defeating him very difficult for The Dark Knight.
6.Mister Freeze
-Freeze has also been used before where he was portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Batman Forever”… I can’t even begin to point out the flaws in that movie. But for those of you have played Batman: Arkham City, if they make him like he was in the game we’d have a really good movie on our hands. Mister Freeze was a former cryogenics expert who suffered an industrial accident while attempting to cure his terminally ill “wife”, Nora. He now must wear a cryogenic suit in order to survive, and bases his crimes around a “cold” or “ice” theme, complete with a “freeze gun” that freezes its targets solid. Over time he becomes machine-like whose only goal is to save his wife, which makes for good plot, cause how evil is a man trying to save his wife?
7.Deadshot
-Deadshot is a hired assassin, known for never missing his target. He can use a large variety of weapons, but mainly uses his wrist-mounted guns. A movie with him in it would full of action! Where Batman must figure out who and why Deadshot is killing certain people and how he’s going to stop him. Deadshot is kind of like Batman opposite Batman is the world’s greatest detective, Deadshot is the world’s greatest marksmen, Batman never uses guns, Deadshot is a master of gun weapons. The idea could be really cool.
8.Mad Hatter
-Jervis Tetch, who due to the constant rejection from his peers has driven him “mad as a hatter” (ha ha ha). Jervis takes the identity as the Mad Hatter, he uses mind-controlling card technology to bend people’s will to his command. Ok this is another one of the side villains I’d want to see…OH! What if he controlled Man-Bat? That’d be really cool wouldn’t it? But if not he would make for a cool villain team up movie.
9.Hush
-Dr. Thomas Elliot was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, who grew up had an abusive drunk father and a gold-digging mother, he turned out messed up. And one day he cut the family car’s brakes, causing his father to die in the crash, but his mother was saved by Bruce’s father Dr. Thomas Wayne, this caused him to hate Bruce and his family. Thomas ended up in a juvenile psych ward, where he convinced an intern named Jonathan Crane (a young Scarecrow) to release him. In short as an adult, Thomas became a doctor, surgically changed his face and voice to look like Bruce Wayne’s took the name Hush, discovered Bruce’s secret, and began personal attacks at his old friend. Ok with that said how wouldn’t this be a great story? The childhood part could be shown in the first reboot movie and have easter eggs hidden in other movie till his ultimate betrayal when he hits Batman where he hurts.
10.Court of Owls
-Ok this one is new coming from the mind of Scott Snyder the current writer for The New 52’s Batman comics, the Court of Owls is an organization older than Gotham itself, that decides to take down Batman and all his caped associates. They have reanimated assassins called Talons. Now if you haven’t you should defiantly read the Batman crossover event “Night of the Owls”.
But movie wise the Court of Owls could decide to take control of Gotham by having their Talons attack the rich but when Batman can’t stop them alone he has to call in the family! Out of everything on this list this is the least likely to EVER happen but still it would make for an awesome animated film and DC has been know for their great animation.
and here’s a BONUS VILLAIN!!!
Amazo
-Amazo is an android, that can replicate the special abilities of superheroes and supervillains that he comes into contact with. He is usually a villain for the Justice League, But like in Batman: Under the Red Hood Batman and Nightwing fight him. This would be a cool movie cause Amazo doesn’t have to be the main villain he could just be the big weapon, like Black Mask or any number of other villains could use him, and it would show Batman taking on a metahuman powerhouse PROVING that Batman doesn’t need “superpowers” to beat super powered enemy.

I fully understand everybody is going to hate to them, but I don’t think they take a look so negative.
